The crown jewel of MLE’s recent terminal expansion is the Koveli Lounge, located in Terminal 1's international departures area. Tailored for premium passengers, it features private relaxation pods, a gourmet multi-course buffet, and dedicated workstations. Note on local customs: Consistent with Maldivian regulations, the Koveli Lounge operates without an alcohol license; however, it features a curated mocktail bar and premium barista services.

For our VVIP and private aviation clients, the Maamahi Executive Lounge (CIP Terminal) delivers a comprehensive ground experience. Guests bypass the main passenger terminals entirely. As of the current travel season, all international flights operate exclusively out of the newly opened, 78,000-square-meter Terminal 1. The older, legacy terminal building has been fully converted into Terminal 2, which handles all domestic flight operations.
Walking between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 via the indoor connection corridors takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes. For our VIP clients holding tight domestic flight connections, AssistAnt provides escorted transfers to ensure a seamless transition between terminals.
No. Security protocols at Terminal 1 strictly require a physical paper boarding pass for immigration and security clearance. If you check in online, your AssistAnt greeter will meet you at the terminal entrance to facilitate the printing of your physical boarding card at the executive desks.
VVIP clients utilizing the Maamahi Executive Lounge bypass all public immigration areas entirely. A dedicated immigration officer is stationed directly inside your private VIP suite to stamp your passport while you relax, a process that typically takes less than 10 minutes.
While Terminal 1 features advanced 3D CT scanners that expedite baggage screening, standard international liquid restrictions (containers under 100ml in a clear bag) remain strictly enforced. Your AssistAnt guide will ensure your hand luggage complies before approaching the priority lanes.
The premium Koveli Lounge features modern high-speed Wi-Fi, private sleeping pods, a multi-course international buffet, and dedicated shower suites. In adherence to local laws, alcohol is not served within the lounge, but an extensive menu of fresh fruit elixirs and specialty coffees is available.
You do not need to visit the baggage claim area. Our professional airport porters use your baggage tags to identify and retrieve your luggage directly from the aircraft's hold or the premium belt, delivering it straight to your awaiting resort speedboat, yacht, or seaplane.
Both the Maamahi Executive Lounge and the Koveli Lounge permit a maximum stay of up to three hours. If your resort transfer or international departure requires a longer layover, your AssistAnt strategist can arrange custom extensions or private day-room access.
All seaplane check-in counters have been relocated entirely inside the main hall of the new International Terminal 1. This centralizes the process, allowing our greeters to escort you directly from your international flight arrival straight to your resort's dedicated seaplane desk without leaving the building.
Tarmac vehicular transfers are reserved exclusively for VVIP Private Jet/FBO bookings and select premium flights parking at remote stands. For standard gate arrivals at Terminal 1, our Fast-Track greeter will meet you at the jet bridge exit and utilize the interior priority lanes.
